Lark Rise
A significant remodelling of a house in the New Forest
Lark Rise is a contemporary conversion of a dilapidated property in Boldre, New Forest. The project sits comfortably in its surroundings, nestled amongst the mature trees. We enlarged the house, maximising the permissible floor area within planning policy. This included a two storey outbuilding.
The house makes exceptional use of its limited footprint and uses covered external spaces to enlarge the sense of space and increase the functional performance of the interior.
An elegant solar shading device shades the generous south facing glazing.
