Triple Finalist at the 2026 Structural Timber Awards
We’re delighted to share that Snug Architects has been shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 Structural Timber Awards, recognising both our work and the practice.
Our Bartlett Arboretum project has been named a finalist for:
2026 Structural Timber Awards Finalist
Architect of the Year
Commercial / Infrastructure Project of the Year
Project of the Year
Bartlett Arboretum is a project we’re incredibly proud of. Designed around a highly sustainable timber construction approach, the building brings together architecture, landscape and low-carbon design to create a workplace that feels firmly rooted in its setting.
The project demonstrates what can be achieved when timber is considered as a fundamental part of the architecture from the outset influencing the structure, character and environmental performance of the building.
To see the project recognised in two categories is fantastic, but being shortlisted for Architect of the Year alongside it makes the announcement particularly special. It reflects not only the success of Bartlett Arboretum, but the wider commitment of the Snug team to creating thoughtful, sustainable and beautifully crafted buildings. A huge thank you to our client, consultant team, contractors and everyone involved in bringing the project to life.
We’re looking forward to the Structural Timber Awards later this year and keeping everything crossed.
