Snug Apartments Community Consultation


Thank you for taking an interest in our proposal for 20 new one and two bedroom apartments at 59 Rumbridge Street. The development sits adjacent to and above our studio, which will be retained on the ground floor.

The scheme will provide much needed smaller units within the town centre of Totton and in close proximity to shops, the train station and a park. The retention of the ground floor office will ensure employment uses continue on the site.

The new apartments are accessed directly off Rumbridge Street. Ten apartments are located in a new four storey building on the corner of Rumbridge Street and Bartram Road. An additional ten flats are located by adding two floors to the existing office building.

In addition to new apartments the proposal will provide four new trees, along both Rumbridge Street and Bartram Road and a new hedge and railings along Rumbridge Street.

This is a zero parking scheme with secure cycle parking, reflecting the highly accessible nature of the location.
