Multiple Awards Won

What a great run we have had on the awards front this year! First we won the RIBA MacEwen Award, the leading architecture award for social purpose projects, for our scheme at Hope Street. This was something we had been pursuing for many years, so was hugely satisfying. Then we won a prestigious Civic Trust award, again for Hope Street.

Next was the South Coast Property Awards, where we were shortlisted for both the Sustainable Development of the Year and Architectural Practice of the Year. We were delighted to win both.

Finally we headed off to the Constructing Excellence Awards where we were finalists for the Best Project under £20m and our client at Hope Street, for Client of the Year. It was wonderful to see One Small Thing win Client of the Year. It is very well deserved and a lovely way to pull this awards season together.

It is great clients that underpin great projects and we could not win any awards without them!

This is an entry that demonstrated not only that the client was actively involved in the process, but that they are brave and visionary. They have challenged the norm and created groundbreaking space that delivers enormous benefits for the end user whilst also looking beyond this to positive impacts on the wider community. In short they created a blueprint for change.
