City of Winchester Trust Awards 2015

Thanks to Hans Klaentschi for an enjoyable awards evening and congratulations to T2 Architects for taking the trophy. Another ice cool scheme and a worthy winner.

Made me think though. I came away more proud than ever of our architecture. It's a little more edgy, a little more marmite, maybe even a little more maverick. We think this adds something special and most of all means those who buy our houses will feel passionately about where they live. That is an essential ingredient of loving where you live.

The excellent work done by our peers in Winchester is a great stimulus for design in the City. We will continue to pursue architecture that is loved, even if not by all. Maybe we will win next time....maybe not!
