Orchard House completes

Thursday, November 9th, 2017

Orchard House, our latest one-off house, is now complete and looking great. Here is a sneak preview of perhaps the most modern new addition to Winchester’s housing stock. We are looking forward to seeing the final professional photography in a few weeks. #modernisthouse #modernism #modernhouse

Proud supporters of BizMin

Thursday, November 9th, 2017

We are pleased to support the launch of a new organisation called BizMin which launched its website on the 31st October, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The organisation is committed to promoting ‘business as ministry’, encouraging entrepreneurs to lead companies based on service rather than self interest. The organisation is founded by Paul Bulkeley, Snug’s founding director, and provides resources and workshops that explore how to do business based on the teaching of the Bible, the same Christian teaching that underpinned the emergence of modern capitalism and the Protestant Work Ethic and informed the business ethic of many of our greatest entrepreneurs and their companies, including Joseph Rowntree, William Laing, and the Rank’s.

Congratulations to JTP for being named Architectural Practice of the Year at the 2017 Building Awards.  It has been good to have been involved with them in several projects this year. Marcus Adams, JTP’s Managing Partner, and his team are great to work with and we feel a tiny little bit of their pride.
