There is a great interview in the RIBA Journal this month with John Norden, Design Director at PegasusLife. It is a privilege to be one of the select architects working with John and his team to reinvent retirement living in the UK. We have two of the first batch of projects currently on site in Poole, Dorset.

We love the way PegasusLife work with their architects. They have a clear vision for their buildings and how their end users will live. Their commitment to the value of good design is clear and they are comfortable with the merits of good modern architecture.  Of course its not all down to the architects and they have an equally talented team of consultants who are involved from the outset. Great projects require a mature attitude and a a commitment to the value of good design that runs through from inception to completion. You can read the full article at:

Called in to see the new Mottisfont visitor centre on the way to work…. Stunning. This is a beautiful piece of carefully crafted modern architecture. It speaks equal of its setting and its era. Well done to Burd Haward Architects on a job well done. If you can’t visit the project you can find out more at:

Woodlands, our luxury retirement development for PegasusLife is coming together nicely. The tower crane is down and the scaffolding is progressively being dropped to reveal some stunning brickwork. Who says brick slips aren’t as good as traditional brickwork? This system has allowed us to create some beautiful splayed window reveals.
