Our proposal for Bargate Homes at Parkwood, on Andover Road in Winchester, is now complete. The scheme embodies what we mean by a design led but commercially savvy approach. It sits beautifully in its mature landscape setting and forms a bold contemporary addition to the local vernacular. Each house feels like a one-off house, exhibiting the qualities of bespoke design. The way each living space connects with views and light is very successful and the whole development feels spacious.  Parkwood looks to be a lovely place to live.

Snug Architects are developing 9 luxury apartments on the waterfront in Sandbanks, Poole. This prestigious development is for PegasusLife, a developer ‘on a mission to fundamentally re-think and re-invent the places and ways in which we approach retirement housing in the UK.’  The site terraces down towards the water with amazing views across Poole harbour to Brownsea Island.

Accordia – Revisiting a great place to live

I had the opportunity to call in on Accordia recently, the first housing scheme to win the Sterling Prize. This is one of those rare modern housing developments that has improved with age. Hugely impressed.

The community was clearly vibrant, the landscape well established and the houses weathering beautifully. This was a place I could happily call home.
