Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan consultation event

Tuesday, October 29th, 2013

This weekend’s options development event for the Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan was a great success. Steering group member, John Palmer, commented,

“Many thanks for your support on the Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan public consultation event.  Feedback has been almost universally positive and much of that is due to the creativity and thought that has gone into the vision as well as your enthusiasm when explaining it.”

In the region of 500 local residents attended over the two days, making valued comments on the vision and 3 masterplan options prepared by Snug. The public’s comments will now be collated and used to develop the draft Neighbourhood Plan for Petersfield. More detail on the plan can be found at:

City of Winchester Trust Design Awards 2013

Friday, October 25th, 2013

Its awards season and Snug has picked up two commendations at the City of Winchester Trust Design Awards 2013. These were for Saxon House, an uber contemporary house, and 6 Ranelagh Road, a sensitively contextual modern extension in the Conservation Area. It is nice to receive recognition for our work and for two so different schemes.

Congratulations to Design Engine and Dan Brill on their winning entries.

British Homes Awards 2013

Friday, October 25th, 2013

It was a good afternoon at the British Homes Awards 2013. Snug was shortlisted for the Britain’s Future Home competition. The overall winner was Dwelle but at least we got our picture taken with George Clarke, from Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces and Restoration Man.

We love it when a tender comes together

So much for the paperless office! There is nothing quite so satisfying as seeing a full tender pack of drawings spread out on the desk. A job well done team.
