Who wouldn’t choose proper coffee?

A friend and I were discussing the challenges we sometimes face in promoting the value of good design. I like his analogy. Good design is like good coffee. It costs a little more because it is worth more. If you appreciate a proper cup of coffee you will probably appreciate the value of our design. At Snug we don’t do instant coffee!

Open House London

As part of our commitment to continuously challenging and refining our approach to design the Snug team took a trip to London and enjoyed visiting a range of bespoke houses as part of Open House London. We also popped in to see Boris’s new office and got a nice photo of the team admiring a pre crash taxpayer funded spiral staircase.

Appointed Chairman of the RIBA South Planning Group

Snug Projects director, Paul Bulkeley, has been appointed chairman of the RIBA South Planning Group.

Winchester 2020 update

We were asked to present our vision for Winchester 2020 to the City of Winchester Trust board of trustees. The board were enthusiastic about the strategy and have indicated that they will seek to promote it to the council. We are encouraged that the vision has gained more influential support.

The Good Business Guide

Snug Projects director Paul Bulkeley was invited to delivered a new training course he has developed on ethical business to the Governance Team Meeting at Vodafone’s International Headquarters in Newbury. It was a good opportunity to refine the way we do business and encouragingly the course was well received- the team voted it one of most informative and interesting ever!
