Speaking at the Radian Annual Design Seminars

Director Paul Bulkeley was invited to speak at this years Radian Homes Annual Design Seminars at Harbour Lights, Southampton. This years seminar focused on ‘Design as a Catalyst for Development’ . Paul’s presentation, titled ‘Getting people Itchen’, explored the role of designers in the process of change with particular reference to designs power to provoke public engagement in the transformation of public space and initiate development.

Snug For Sale

The Paddock House plot has gone on sale with the Modern House Estate Agency. The plot is marketed with the benefit of Snug’s planning application for a cool £500K. It is nice to be amongst such illustrious company!

Queens Park Soundscape

Paul Bulkeley has project managed a temporary transformation of Queens Park Southampton. The project was a joint venture between the University of Southampton and Southampton City Council, funded by SEEDA and the Solent Centre for Architecture and Design, exploring ways of transforming public space. An altered soundscape, derived from an analysis of the site, was introduced to the space and monitored. Initial results suggest the public’s perception of the park were improved.

Snug joins WinACC
